Hopper balls and Big balls moulds

PROMOSAL designs and manufactures molten aluminium moulds for hopper balls and big balls, smooth or with engravings, with handles or horns.

Hopper balls

Balls used for jumping. They must have handles so that the child can hold on to the ball and jump on top of it.

These hopper balls are inflated to a diameter of 550-650 mm, and have an approximate weight of 400 grams.

They are susceptible to 360º pad printing and decoration with decals and airbrushing.

Handle types:

  • - Round grip handle
  • - 2 horns (hopper ball called Kangaroo)

Round grip handle:

  • - Ø 170 mm (with smooth polished with lines)
  • - Ø 180 mm (with part engraved and part smooth polished)
  • - Ø 200 mm (with part engraved and part smooth polished)
  • - Ø 220 mm (smooth polished with lines)

Big balls

Big sized balls that are used in gyms for rehabilitation, for sports gymnastics, trainings and also in sports exhibitions.

Duraluminium smooth mould

The big ball can be smooth, shiny or striped, in which case it is manufactured with a smooth duraluminium mould. We can manufacture any diameter of smooth mould in DURALUMINIUM on our CNC lathes and milling machines.

Recommended diameter

Normally the recommended diameter for this type of balls ranges from 180 mm to 400 mm, depending on the diameter of the ball you want to achieve.

PROMOSAL recommends to inflate a ball to 550-650 mm using a mould with a diameter of 180-200 mm.

Engravings

Likewise, the big ball can have different engravings. Medicine ball moulds are normally used to achieve these engraved big balls. We have a diameter of up to 400 mm in moulds, with which a big ball can be inflated to more than 2,000 mm (2 meters).
